It also occurs due to mitotic division in merismatic tissue.  pertumbuhan kecambah? Pertumbuhan suatu tanaman merupakan proses bertambahya ukuran baik volume, masa dan tinggi serta jumlah sel secara irreversible  (tidak dapat kembali ke bentuk semula.Tahap pertumbuhan ini terjadi karena pertambahan jumlah sel serta pembesaran sel. Selain itu juga terjadi akibat pembelahan mitosis pada jaringan yanag bersifat merismatik.
